Buckner Sporting Clays Challenge 2019

City Credit Union proudly supported Buckner’s annual Sporting Clays Challenge as the Title Sponsor. The event benefited Buckner’s Family Pathways, a program that empowers single parents and their children. It was an extreme success; together we raised significantly more than the previous year.

We are already looking forward to next year!

Together We Can Make the Difference

City CU collected personal hygiene products at our branches in May for Austin Street Center and other organizations in our communities.

Members and associates donated personal hygiene products such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes and more. Our radio commercials encouraged non-Members to stop by a branch to contribute to the cause — which they did! A true community effort to help our neighbors in need.

If you missed out, you can still donate directly to the organizations below by clicking their name.

Austin Street Center

Austin Street Center is an emergency shelter that serves men ages 45 and older and women ages 18 and older. Each person who finds shelter with us is provided a safe place to sleep, showers, clothing, and meals.

Abigail’s Arms

Gainesville and sherman branch staff Welcome Medal of Honor Recipients

The Medal of Honor is the highest award for valor in action against an enemy force which can be bestowed upon an individual serving in the Armed Services of the United States. This honor is generally presented to the recipient by the President of the United States of America in the name of Congress. In 2001, Gainesville, Texas became the only city in America to host our nation’s highest decorated heroes annually to promote patriotism and celebrate the heroism of the recipients. City CU’s Sherman and Gainesville branch staff — along with some of our Members — were on site to welcome and honor the recipients.
